This fall I made a repair on this beautiful house in the park of Rosersberg castle.
While replastering it they found some ants and eaten timber. Once I started looking into it I soon discovered that the ants nest was a lot bigger than it seemed in the first place. The outer wall was ok but the inner wall I could put my whole crowbar inside.

The wallpaper in one of the rooms was recreated after an old original, so it would have been very expensive to print a new one. I therefore worked from the other room, being very careful not to damage the few millimeters of plaster that the wallpaper was on. Very tricky to put the chainsaw at the exact right depth when cutting the logs. No damage was done to the expensive wallpaper

Here you can see it in 3d: https://skfb.ly/6N9uE

There were some leftovers of the wallpaper for the room I destroyed, and it was just enough to repair that part. So both on the inside and on the outside there are no traces of my work left. The only way to watch it now is in my 3d models.

I inspected a cottage a while ago and decided to do some extra work, free of charge, to see how much time I needed and to work out a good workflow. I began by photographing the place and made a photogrammetric 3d-model. I then modelled the planned extension based on the architects sketches and put them with the scanned mesh and made some quick renders.

The goal is to be able to do this as effective as possible so it will be available to projects with a low budget and not just big ones.

You really need to see this film about forest work! I have been doing traditional woodworking for 18 years and I still learned many new things from this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hL166BPL4EE

Spent the last weekend in Gothenburg, helping out with the critical parts of restoring the kings 18:th century gun carriages. One was in good enough shape to be only painted. The other one was beyond rescue and needed a lot of new wooden parts.

Historic Crafts camp in Kronobergs slott 2003.
I helped Robin Davies to build a smelting oven for bloomery iron, fenced and got to know a lot of wonderful people and learn a wide array of crafts. I am very greatful for all this knowledge that has helped me in many different ways.

Photografer unknown to me. Please help.
